This is the new title for my sequel to No Going Back.
And this is one of the many designs my husband, Mike, has come up with for the cover. It depicts the chaos in Germany, and the rest of Europe, in the aftermath of the Second World War.
I'm feeling excited now that I've sent the manuscript to Matador for publication. I know they'll do a brilliant job.
I was ready to publish last year but then my sister-in-law, Lynne, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and everything went on hold. It was a grievous loss for the whole family and it's taken a long time to get back to some kind of normal.
The only good thing to come out of it all was my continued tinkering with the book which is now in much better shape.
